Australian Architecture Conference
The 2025 Australian Architecture Conference, held from 2-4 May at Sydney Opera House, will tackle pressing design challenges and explore solutions for a resilient future.

The Australian Institute of Architects has announced its annual conference will be held from 2-4 May 2025 in Sydney, opening at the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall.
The conference will explore design responses to climate emergency, AI transformation and housing challenges, with a focus on building resilient futures. The three-day program brings together architects, students and industry leaders from Australia and internationally for knowledge exchange and networking.
A new steering committee has been appointed to develop the 2025 program, comprising: Aaron Peters, Adam Haddow, Adrian Fernandez, Felicity Stewart, Nicole Mesquita-Mendes, Sally Hsu, Sharaan Muruvan and Tania Papasotiriou. They are joined by institute representatives Cameron Bruhn (CEO), Alexis Schnitger (Major Events and Prizes Officer) and Kate Concannon (National Education Program Lead).
