Brick Awards 2026
The Brick Development Association's 50th annual Brick Awards ceremony at the Royal Lancaster London, recognising clay brick architecture across 19 categories
Location: Royal Lancaster London, London
Date: 4 November 2026
The Brick Awards return to the Royal Lancaster London on 4 November 2026 for their 50th annual ceremony. Run by the Brick Development Association, the awards recognise the use of clay brick in UK and international projects. The organiser says hundreds of projects are entered each year, and that the evening draws around 600 guests from architecture, development and contracting.
The 2026 shortlist is published and covers 19 categories, among them Individual House, Housing Development in small, medium and large bands, Urban Regeneration, Commercial, Public, Education, Refurbishment, Craftsmanship, Specialist Brickwork Contractor, Worldwide, Sustainability and a Supreme Award. The ceremony format is a seated dinner with live entertainment and a celebrity host. Seats and tables are booked directly through the BDA.
Brick remains the default facade material for much of British housing and public work, and this is the one night a year the architects, contractors and manufacturers behind it sit in the same room. For practices with a shortlisted project, or who specify brick regularly, it is a useful night to be in the room.
