MPARNTWE: When You Come to Another Country is a Regional Architecture Association event hosted on Arrernte Country in Mparntwe (Alice Springs). Across three days, the gathering explores the cultural, ecological and climatic conditions shaping architecture in remote Central Australia. Presentations are delivered by creative directors Bobbie Bayley, Owen Kelly and Tonielle Dempers alongside a broad roster of local and national practitioners. The programme combines seminars, workshops, site visits and immersive experiences including a day in Tjoritja National Park. Ten formal CPD points are available to delegates. Travel, cultural context, camp options and festival timings are woven into the design logic.
