Join a thought-provoking discussion on Sustainable Energy for Some? Value Creation and Distribution in the Energy Transition on Tuesday, 21st January 2025, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM (GMT). Hosted at University College London (UCL) and online via Zoom, this free event is part of UCL’s Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP) Conversations series.
The session examines the redistribution of economic benefits in energy transitions, with insights into local, national, and global dynamics. Featuring Silvia Weko, Keno Haverkamp, and chaired by Dr. Cecilia Rikap, the panel will explore the role of technology transfer, Big Tech’s growing influence, and geopolitical challenges in the clean energy race.
Open to all, the event offers valuable perspectives on the political economy of sustainability. Registration is required to attend in person or online.
