They are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to join their team, working closely with the Directors to grow trade clientele on a national level. The ideal candidate will implement an effective sales strategy that expands the brands reach, strengthens client relationships, and builds revenue.
Key responsibilities
- Work closely with key Architectural and Design clients to build strong business relationships
- Actively seek out new business opportunities and leads
- Manage client portfolio of new and existing customers
- Channel support, including developing relevant collateral and on-site visits
- Provide exceptional after-sales support
- Create tailored and personal sales plans for key clients
- Promote new products/services to existing customers
- Maintain accurate and up to date product knowledge
- Demonstrated, applicable experience in a relevant sales role in the A&D sector
- Ability to action a sales strategy, from inception to implementation
- Excellent time management skills and proactive by nature
- Enthusiastic and collaborative team player with a positive approach to work
- The ability to confidently manage client relationships and general day-to-day enquiries
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to build strong relationships
- Good attention to detail in handling business development leads and managing projects
- Experience with ERP and CRM software
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
