Australian Good Design Awards Ceremony
The annual black-tie ceremony at ICC Sydney on 9 October, recognising design excellence across architecture, engineering, and product design.
Location: Grand Ballroom, ICC Sydney, Darling Harbour
Date: 9 October 2026
The Australian Good Design Awards Ceremony takes place on 9 October 2026 at the Grand Ballroom of ICC Sydney. The awards programme, administered by Good Design Australia, spans architecture, urban design, product design, engineering, and digital design, recognising work that addresses complex problems through systemic thinking across every scale of practice.
The black-tie evening brings together architects, product designers, engineers, and business leaders in one of the few annual events to draw the full breadth of Australia’s design professions into the same room. Best in Class awards, special accolades, and the Australian Good Design Award of the Year are announced throughout a formal dinner programme attended by over 1,000 guests.
Entries for the 2026 programme are open now at good-design.org. The awards are an internationally recognised programme and accept entries from practitioners outside Australia.
