ArchiBuild Expo, formerly Design Show Melbourne, is the southern states’ primary trade and specification event for architects, engineers and construction professionals. Held across three days at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre in South Wharf, the expo brings together materials suppliers, manufacturers and technical specialists and is curated specifically for professional specifiers rather than the general public.
The 2026 programme introduces a “Future Materials” gallery with a focus on timber hybridisation and mass timber construction, alongside a series of formal CPD sessions addressing NCC 2025 compliance requirements. The combination of product exhibition and structured CPD makes it a practical professional development destination for practices with active specification programmes.
ArchiBuild Expo is managed by Expertise Events and returns to MCEC at 1 Convention Centre Place, South Wharf. Registration is free for registered architects and designers through the official expo website.
