New Designers 2026
Over 2,500 graduating designers show their final-year work at the Business Design Centre in Islington, spanning furniture, ceramics, textiles and product design.
Location: Business Design Centre, Islington, London
Date: 1 July 2026 to 4 July 2026
New Designers returns to the Business Design Centre in Islington for its 41st edition in 2026, bringing together over 2,500 graduating designers from universities across the United Kingdom to show their final-year work to an audience of industry professionals, buyers, press and the public. The show spans furniture, ceramics, glassware, jewellery, textiles, fashion, industrial design, graphic design and product design.
The event opens on 1 July with an evening preview and continues through the weekend. For studios and practices looking to identify emerging talent, New Designers provides the kind of broad overview of graduate output that it would otherwise take months of individual school visits to assemble. Awards across multiple categories are presented during the run, adding a formal recognition element to the showing.
Interior designers and product designers in particular find the event a useful resource, with an exceptionally high concentration of functional objects and spatial design work. Admission is free to industry professionals on the trade day and ticketed for the general public thereafter.
