Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art: Yield Strength 2026

Yield Strength is the 2026 edition of the Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art, staged at the Art Gallery of South Australia. The biennial is one of Australia’s most significant recurring survey exhibitions of contemporary art, and this iteration takes its title from a structural engineering concept — the point at which a material deforms under stress — to explore ideas of resilience, adaptation, and transformation across artistic practice.
