A ten-day festival of exhibitions, markets, open studios, performances and workshops across Canberra featuring more than 500 artists, makers and designers

The Craft + Design Canberra Festival 2026 runs from 5 to 15 November 2026 at venues across the city. Over ten days the festival features more than 500 artists, makers, designers and performers.
The programme includes more than 130 activations, spanning exhibitions, markets, open studios, performances and workshops. Its focus is the role of design in addressing environmental and social impact, sustainability, wellbeing and accessibility.
Canberra is a UNESCO City of Design, and the festival is a showcase for the craft and design community that underpins that status. Full event listings are available through Craft + Design Canberra.
