Light + Intelligent Building North America 2027 (formerly LightFair)
Messe Frankfurt's successor to LightFair, run with the IES and IALD at the Las Vegas Convention Center, covering lighting, building technology and accessories for designers and specifiers
Location: Las Vegas Convention Center, Las Vegas
Date: 15 March 2027 to 18 March 2027
Light + Intelligent Building North America is the successor to LightFair, organised by Messe Frankfurt with the Illuminating Engineering Society and the International Association of Lighting Designers. The first edition runs from 15 to 18 March 2027 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. It is aimed at anyone who designs spaces, specifies systems or delivers smart building infrastructure, including architects, interior designers and lighting designers.
The show floor is organised into three sectors, Lighting, Building Technology and Accessories, with interactive exhibits and live demonstrations of building systems. The conference programme offers keynotes, on-floor theatres, panels, case studies and workshops, with CEUs available through eligible sessions, plus a Luminary Leaders Program. Registration is live through the Messe Frankfurt site. The 2027 show takes the March slot LightFair previously held in odd-numbered years.
For lighting and interior designers in Las Vegas and across the West, this is the relaunch of the main North American lighting trade show under a new name, and the first chance to see how the pairing of lighting with building technology plays out on the floor.
