Craft + Design Canberra Festival 2026
A ten-day festival of exhibitions, markets, open studios, performances and workshops across Canberra featuring more than 500 artists, makers and designers

Date: 5 November 2026 to 15 November 2026
The Craft + Design Canberra Festival 2026 runs from 5 to 15 November 2026 at venues across the city. Over ten days the festival features more than 500 artists, makers, designers and performers.
The programme includes more than 130 activations, spanning exhibitions, markets, open studios, performances and workshops. The 2026 programme is built around the theme Dissent.
Canberra is bidding for UNESCO City of Design status, and the festival is a showcase for the craft and design community behind that bid. Full event listings are available through Craft + Design Canberra.
