Parlour LAB 41: Smart Cities convenes experts to examine how increasing data‑use is reshaping the built environment.

The session brings together Sophia Maalsen and Deepti Prasad in conversation with Kali Marnane and Rebecca McLaughlan. They will address how data‑driven urban planning, design practices, governance and living conditions intersect in ethical, social and spatial terms.

The event is relevant for architects, urbanists, planners and others interested in the implications of digital technologies for equity, informality, housing and the material fabric of cities. Attendees will gain insights into critical perspectives on computational systems within housing, AI, and the role of data in design of public space.
