AIA UK and RIBA Keynote Lecture: Craig Dykers of Snøhetta

Craig Dykers, founding partner of Snøhetta, gives the 2026 AIA UK and RIBA keynote lecture at Central Saint Martins, King's Cross, London

Location: Central Saint Martins, Granary Square, London

Date: 27 October 2026, from 6.30pm

Craig Dykers, architect, educator and founding partner of Snøhetta, gives the 2026 AIA UK and RIBA keynote lecture at Central Saint Martins, Granary Building, 1 Granary Square, London on 27 October 2026, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. The lecture is jointly convened by the American Institute of Architects UK chapter and RIBA, in partnership with Spatial Practices at Central Saint Martins, UAL.

Dykers co founded Snøhetta in Oslo in 1989. The organiser describes his work as blurring the boundaries between architecture, landscape, urbanism and cultural infrastructure, with a focus on people, place and the natural world. Tickets are £10 for AIA and RIBA members, £20 general admission, £5 for students from other institutions and free for UAL students with ID. Drinks and canapés follow the lecture.

Snøhetta’s public buildings and landscapes have shaped how a generation of architects thinks about the ground plane and public space. At £20 or less, this is an inexpensive evening with one of the practice’s founders, in a building that is itself a well known piece of adaptive reuse.
