AJ Architecture Awards 2026
The Architects' Journal celebrates outstanding work from across the UK profession at the Royal Lancaster London, with awards spanning practice size, typology and innovation.
Location: Royal Lancaster London, Hyde Park, London
Date: 26 November 2026
The AJ Architecture Awards 2026 ceremony takes place on 26 November at the Royal Lancaster London, the annual occasion on which the Architects’ Journal recognises outstanding work from across the UK architectural profession. The awards cover a wide range of categories including practice size, building type, sustainability and innovation, and are open for entries until May.
Now firmly established as one of the most attended evenings in the profession’s calendar, the awards draw entries from small emerging practices through to the largest UK studios, with judging structured to ensure that work is assessed within its relevant competitive context rather than purely by scale or budget. The ceremony brings together architects, clients, developers and press in a format that has become a reliable annual meeting point for the profession.
Shortlisted projects are published and celebrated in the Architects’ Journal ahead of the November ceremony, giving practices significant editorial exposure beyond the awards night itself. Entry and registration information is available at the AJ Architecture Awards website.
