Austin Design Week: Studio Circuit 2026
A series of open-studio evenings and technical panels across Austin's design hubs, connecting the architectural community with local industrial and UX designers.
Location: Various design hubs, Austin
Date: November 2026
Austin Design Week’s Studio Circuit strand runs through November as part of the city’s annual design festival, offering a series of open-studio evenings and technical panels at design practices, fabrication studios and creative spaces distributed across Austin’s emerging and established design districts. The circuit is structured to connect architects and spatial designers with practitioners from industrial design, product design and UX, creating an unusually cross-disciplinary professional forum for a city whose design community has grown rapidly in recent years.
Studios open their doors to give visiting professionals a direct view of active projects, process and the physical working environments in which design happens, with discussions facilitated around topics ranging from fabrication and material research to the integration of digital and physical design methodologies. The technical panel component brings together practitioners from different disciplines to examine shared challenges in a format designed to generate conversation rather than broadcast.
For architects and interior designers curious about how the broader Austin design ecosystem is developing, the Studio Circuit provides an efficient way to make connections and encounter work that might not otherwise cross their professional path. The full programme is published at austindesignweek.org ahead of the November event.
