Brisbane Open House 2025
Explore over 90 Brisbane buildings and spaces during two days of architectural tours, talks, and special events.
Location: Greater Brisbane, various venues across the city
Date: Saturday 19 July – Sunday 20 July 2025
Brisbane Open House 2025 invites the public to experience over 90 architecturally significant buildings, structures, and spaces throughout Greater Brisbane. Held over two days, the event includes guided tours, exclusive access to private residences, and site visits to infrastructure hubs such as the Port of Brisbane and Roma Street’s subterranean station works.
The program extends beyond open buildings to include talks, twilight walks, and heritage-focused evenings in the lead-up week. Key highlights include architect-led tours on Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island), rare looks inside new sites like Rivière by Aria and Bradbury Playscape, and a robust evening series featuring Pecha-Kucha and deep-dive lectures.
In collaboration with the Australian Institute of Architects and local heritage partners, the event continues to champion Brisbane’s evolving built environment while foregrounding public access and design literacy.
