Columbia GSAPP End of Year Show 2026
Avery Hall transforms into a multi-floor exhibition of advanced computational research and speculative urban theory from Columbia GSAPP graduates.
Location: Avery Hall, Columbia University, New York
Date: Opens 16 May 2026
The Columbia GSAPP End of Year Show transforms Avery Hall into a comprehensive multi-floor exhibition, presenting the work of graduating students from across the school’s architecture, urban planning, historic preservation and real estate programmes. Opening on 16 May, the show is the school’s primary public-facing moment of the academic year and draws practitioners, critics and recruiters from across the profession.
For firm principals and professional recruiters, the EOYS is the year’s most concentrated site for architectural intelligence gathering, with advanced computational research, speculative urban proposals and material investigations on display alongside thesis presentations. The school’s position at the intersection of practice and academic research means its graduate work regularly anticipates directions that will reach mainstream practice within a few years.
Avery Hall is located at Columbia University’s Morningside Heights campus, accessible via the 116th Street subway station. The exhibition is free and open to the public; gallery hours and opening events are confirmed through arch.columbia.edu.
