MSDx Winter: In the Making
Melbourne School of Design's biannual student showcase, revealing emerging fabrication techniques and computational workflows from current cohorts.
Location: Glyn Davis Building, MSD, Parkville
Date: 26 June 2026 to 10 July 2026 (Opening Night: 26 June)
MSDx is the Melbourne School of Design’s biannual exhibition programme showcasing student and research work from across the faculty. The Winter 2026 edition, titled “In the Making,” runs from 26 June to 10 July in the Glyn Davis Building at Parkville, with an Opening Night on 26 June that is the primary attendance point for working practitioners.
The “In the Making” theme signals a focus on process and method, with work on display likely spanning computational workflows, fabrication techniques and research-led design investigations. For practices, the Opening Night provides a practical reference for understanding the preoccupations that will shape the next cohort entering the profession and the tools they bring with them.
MSDx is free to attend throughout the exhibition period. The Opening Night on 26 June is recommended for professionals wishing to engage with MSD faculty and current students in a more direct setting.
