Open House Festival London 2026
London's annual festival of architectural access opens buildings across all 33 boroughs to the public for nine days in September, in its 35th edition.
Location: Venues across London
Date: 12 September 2026 to 20 September 2026
Open House Festival 2026 marks the 35th edition of London’s annual programme of architectural access, opening buildings across all 33 boroughs to the public for a nine-day period in September. Organised by Open City, the festival gives Londoners and visitors the opportunity to enter buildings that are normally closed, from private homes and working offices to civic buildings, infrastructure and architect-led community projects.
The full programme for 2026 will be published on 15 July, with bookings for ticketed activities going live on 19 August. In past editions, the festival has included talks with architects, behind-the-scenes access to engineering projects and specialist tours of buildings that are rarely opened in this way.
For architects and designers, Open House provides a professionally valuable context in which to see contemporary and historical London buildings through public and client eyes, as well as the chance to view projects of significance that are normally accessible only through invitation or professional connection. The festival coincides with the final days of London Design Festival 2026.
