Sydney Open spans a full year of curated architectural engagements engaging built heritage, design, history and contemporary architecture. Each month participants can attend behind‑the‑scenes tours led by pre‑eminent experts offering technical and historical insight beyond facades. New in 2025 are thematic symposia featuring keynote presentations and panel discussions exploring pertinent industry subjects such as the relationship between heritage and new construction. The programme culminates on 2 November with a major city‑wide open day granting public access to heritage sites, new buildings and architecturally significant spaces across Greater Sydney.
